Hypocrisy at Large

Remember the well known concern citizens that pops up in the news now and then, PETA [People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals].

While boldy crying in the streets, byways, and highways the “unethical” treatment of animals, at the same time the animals in their care becomes KIA [killed in action] by the administration of the lethal injections.

According to the nonprofit Center for Consumer Freedom [CCF] during the period of’:

  •  2004: PETA had 2,278 KIA dogs, cats, and other “companion” animals which is 86 percent of what they received.
  •  2003: 1,911 KIA which is 85 percent.
  •  2002: 2,298 KIA animals which is 85 percent.

See the pattern here!

PETA received nearly $29M in 2005 as income, much of it came from donations of the pet owners thinking their money actually helped animals.  But, while spending millions on programs such as “equating meat eaters with Nazis.”

In 2003, the Norfolk SPCA found adoptive homes for 73 percent of its animals.  The Virginia Beach SPCA adopted out 65 percent.  PETA could only manage to adopt out 14 percent.

PTEA kills animals.  And its leaders dare lecture to us.  “That’s not ethical.”
