Stand Up to Be Counted

Since the passing of the "Castle Doctrine" law, protecting and broadening Florida citizens right to armed self-defense against criminal violence.

In furthering that protection of constitutionally guaranteed rights, Florida Senator Durell Peaden [R-2] introduced SB-206, prohibits specified persons, employers, and business entities from establishing, maintaining, or enforcing any policy or rule that prohibits a person from parking motor vehicle on property set aside for such purpose when secured firearm or firearms are being lawfully transported and stored in the motor vehicle; and provides for specified immunity from liability for businesses.

Constitutional rights do not, and indeed must not, end when you drive into a commercial parking lot!

The Florida bill will put an end to corporate giants trampling the freedom of law-abiding citizens who take responsibility for their own safety and, by their practice, extorting employees by forcing them to choose between their jobs or their lives.

I urge you to contact your state representatives in sponsoring similar bill as the Florida SB-206 in protecting your constitutional rights.

Salad Bowl

Multiculturalism boldly denounce the teaching on American Heritage-one might think that it would be a rational and non-controversial approach to teach about the American Declaration of Independence and the American Constitution.  This is naive.  Having people from all over the world.  They want to learn about their own cultural heritage.  This is what divides a country- not unity.

In a recent immigration overpopulation conference in Washington, DC, former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm stood up and gave an outstanding speech on how to destroy America.  He said this is how they do it:

"First, turn America into a bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country.  History shows that not nation can survive the tension conflict, and antagonism of two or more competing languages and cultures.  "The historical scholar, Seymour Lipset, put it this way; "The histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil, tension, and tragedy."

Second, Invent 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to maintain their cullture.  I would make an article of belief that all cultures are equal.  That there are no cultural differences.  Black and Hispanic dropout rates are due solely to prejudice and discrimination by the majority.  Every other explanation is out of bounds.

Third, We would make up the United States an 'Hispanic Quebec' without much efforts.  The key is to celebrate diversity rather then culture and replace the melting pot metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor.

Fourth, I would make our fastest growing demographic the least educated.  I would add a second underclass, unassimilated, under-educated, and antagonistic to our population.  I would have this second underclass have a 50 percent dropout rate from high schools.

Fifth point, would be get big foundations and business to give hese efforts lots of money.  Invent in ethnic identity, and establish the cult of 'Victimology'.  I would get all minorities to think that their lack of success was the fault of the majority.  I would start a grievance industry blaming all minority failure on the majority population.

Sixth, Thd downfall would include dual citizenship, and promote divided loyalties.  I would celebrate diveristy over unity.  I would stress differences rather then similarities.

Seventh, Place al subjects off limits; make it a taboo to talk about anything against the cult of 'diversity'.  I would find a word similar to 'heretic' in the 16th century- that stopped discussion and paralized thinking.  Words like 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate.

Lastly, I would censor 'Victor Hansen Davis' book Mexifornia.  His book is dangerous.  It exposes the plan to destroy America."

There is over 100 languages are ripping the foundation of our educational system and national cohesiveness.  Jobs in the United States are vanishing into the Third World corporations each day creating a Third World in America.

If we do not get this illegal immigration under control, it will rage like a California wildfire and destroy in its path, The American Dream.

Breaching Constitutional Rights

Fall of 2005, in the weeks after Karina destroyed the Gulf Coast, one of many occurences in particular emerged abusive powers of government un amuck: the violent Sept 7 evacuation of an 58 year old law-abiding citizen, Patricia Konie from her Magazine Street house in New Orleans.

For the 58 year old woman, confiscation and forcibly removed came at the same time: when Konie was body-slammed by police in her high and dry home as she UNTHREATENING displayed a firearm.

On September 7, Konie welcomed a reporter from the London Times and a cameraman from a local network affiliate into her home.  In her kitchen, she showed the reporters a well stocked shelves and water and , when asked if she feared for her safety, Konie delicately held an unloaded firearm in her palm to sho the reporters.[1]

In that instant, LSP and CHP officers appeared at her door, ordering her to vacate her property.  "I told them, I don't want you in here," Konie said, "and I tried to close the door.  But, they barged in." "I was terrified," she said. "I looked at the Times reporter and her mouth just dropped."[2]

As the officer moved closer, one is heard shouting, "She as a gun!," one police officer then grabs Patricia Konie and throws her to the floor, slamming her into a two foot space between the frig. and a cabinet, and is instantly on top of her, breaking her false teeths, fracturing the humerus [large bone extending from the elbow to the shoulder], black eye, bruises all over her body, and fingerprints on the arms-all the way down as black and blue.[3]

"My client was severely injured in a needless removal from her home."  said Attorney Ashton O'Dwyer.  "Patricia Konie had food, plenty of water, and a roof over her head.  The police who illegally entered her home and imposed their will on a frail, middle-age female should have been out apprehending armed male looters instead."[4]

"Sadly, Patricia is only one of many examples of police going too far in the wake of Hurricane Katrina," said O'Dwyer.  "Already one court has ruled against their strong-arm tactics, and we look forward to our day in court."[5]

In the wave of abuses from various government agencies-including Federal Marshals- during the Katrina crises in New Orleans.  New Hampshire state reps are reviewing a bill which wil criminalize certain weapons seizures- even if the perpetrators are Federal Officers.

Bill reads as follows:  "Any law enforcement officer, person acting as a law enforcement officer, or other public official who confiscates or attempts to confiscate lawfully carried or lawfully owned firearms in this state during a declared state of emergency shall be charged with a class A felony."[6]

To keep any public official or law enforcement from doing what was done in New Orleans in your state, urge you to contact your state representatives to pass similar bill as the New Hampshire's, which will go a long way in protecting our Second Amendmment Rights.

Juvenile Justice Works ?

Juvinel crime as gotten worse.  The number of juvenile murders tripled to 3,100 since 1984, and 125,000 youths are charged each year with violent crimes.  One juvenile in five are arrested for violent crime is 17- years-of- age or less.

A little good news is that arrest rates for youth violent crimes dropped 2.9 percent since 1996.  However, that population of males ages 14 to 24 has grown by 1.8 million by 2005.  History tells us the most vicious 7 percent of those will commit most youthful crimes of violence, implying the expansion of 125,000 criminals from 1996 to 2005.

What cause juvenile crime?  1.  He [93 percent of criminals are male] is a free moral agent who, confronted with choice, between right and wrong, chooses to do wrong, even if only a short period in his life.  The youth refuses to respect the rights of others to be secure in their lives and possessions.  2.  More juveniles than ever are effectively growing up as "barbarians", failing to adopt the very minimum ethics required for peaceful cooperation, and crime "Pays" for too many juveniles -they usually pay much low price even when they are caught.

Washington State Institute of Public Policy's 1996 report on Early Intervention Program [EIP] said, "36 percent youth in the control group, compared with 35 percent EIP, re-convicted for new felony crime after 36 months…felony recidivism rates for the two groups increased as the follow-up period is lengthened…EIP funding did not show a statically significant reduction in recidivism."

The way to solve the juvenile crime is to rebuild internal restraints, decentralized and cut back the welfare states, increase competition and choice in schools, and strengthen the family unit and private sector control generally.  As one Texas judge said, "a half-grow'd rattler is about as dangerous as a full-grow'd one."

The juvenile justice system minimizes crime, they are just youths.  As Judge Ralph Adam Fine of Wisconsin says, "We keep our hands out of the flame because it hurt the very first time [not the second, fifth, or tenth time] we touch the fire."  But yet, juvenile courts still handle 1.4 million delinquency cases each year, including 100,000 serious violent crimes.

The lady justice is blind, balance of scales, and sword of justitia.  One system with equal justice for all -not separate systems for different groups -serve us best.

The logical end is to abolish the welfare to young criminals in favor of justice!

Teaching Heritage

Just recently President Bush, Friday educating the American citizens of the "Trilateral" summit held with Canada and Mexico regarding the illegals crossing U. S. borders.

This Republic requires more of its citizens than any other form of government.  Depends on the ability of the citizens to govern themselves.  There are rooted in moral and political principles in which each generation must be educated.  Educating citizens in the principles, rights, duties, and capacities of citizenship is the purpose of public education in America, and our institutions of higher learning play a critical part in making our public capable or incapable of fulfilling their purpose.  The educators are failing miserably in accomplishing this purpose in apparent to all who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Here is an excerpt of an article written by Christopher Flannery on "Educating Citizen's":

"Education in America today, at every level, is dominated by doctrines that openly repudiated the principles on which America is founded; indeed, they deny the very capacity of men to distinquish freedom from tryanny, justice from injustice, right from wrong.  These doctrines have wholly discredited the perspective of the democratic citizen: they have made self government itself unitelligable as a political phenomenon.  So pervasive has been the influence of these doctrines that the teaching of American citizen from the earliest elementary to the graduate schools takes place almost wholly within their horizons… The popular expressions of these ideas in our time take a wide variety of froms, …converge most faddishly under the banners of 'Multiculturalism' and 'Diversity."

"The foremost idea multiculuralism is the equal value of all cultures, or cultural relativism.  This is an idea that has made it impossible for a generation of American students to make the perfectly reational moral distinction between a 'culture' that puts Jews in the ovens and one that grants them freedom of worship and all rights of citizenship…"

"Multiculturalists loudly denounce the emphasis on American history and culture and western civilization… One might think that it would be a rational and non-controversial approach to teach – student about the American Declaration of Independence and the American Constitution.  This a naive.  And, again, it is not just the 'fringe elements' who protest… have childern from all over the world.  They want to learn about their own cultural heritage, not about the Bill of Rights, per California School Board Accociation."

"…Beverly Slapin of Communities United Racism condemns as racist the inclusion in American history textbooks of the account of the migration of Indians across the Bering Strait of Alaska, whatever may be the claim to historical truth. "Native people say they were created here, she says, "that they sprang from Earth, not from Europe or Asian…" disregard people's religious beliefs os racist."

"…multicultural therapy inflicted on American students at all levels – produce adults – cannot distinquish between right from wrong; …who have been taught to indenify themselves through the skin color or surnames of their ancestors; …ignorant of American History and the principles of American Democracy or have been taught to despise America; …"

Intelligent liberal critics of multiculturalism see the problem clearly.  Respected historian of education Diane Ravitch says, schools should say to students of other cultures, "that wherever they have come from, wherever their parents have come from, they are now preparing to be American Citizens… They must learn American History, Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights."

"American began with a ringing affirmation of a fundamental moral and political truth: "We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights."  There was no appeal to skin color or ethnicity."

American Founders proclaiming all men and all times possess by nature equal rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  In that they realize the limits of their ability to secure these rights.  When they were able to establish "more perfect union" they understood full well how far from perfection they remained.

"To began to restore American education today world, its necessary to restore the moral and intellctual horizons within which the self evident truths on which America was founded can command the respect and allegiance they deserve, …Americans can justly appreciate why and how Lincoln might say of America, "We find ourselves under the government of a system of political institutions conducting more essentially to the ends of civil and religious liberty than any of which the history of former times tells us."
