The Castle Doctrine sweeping United States as a whirlwind reuniting Americans with the right to protect themselves and loved ones from danger.
The doctrine simply places into law what is a fundamental right: self-defense. If a person is in a place he or she has a right to be [front yard, on the road, at work, strolling in the Park, etc.] -and confronted by an armed predator, he or she can respond in force in defense of their lives and others. Also, it protects the law-abiding citizens from criminal and civil charges for defending themselves against an attacker whereby, after enduring the trauma of a violent attack, they aren’t dragged through a nightmarish legal battle that could threaten their financial future.
Aside from Florida, other states have latched unto the whirlwind and the Castle Doctrine is now the law.
